AS Møre Codfish Comp.

The company was founded in Kristiansund in 1956. After reorganization in 1972, the company moved to Ålesund. Originally established purely as an export company, we have in recent years branched out to develop extensive production of salted and dried fish from our own plants. Thanks to current extensions and rationalization measures, the production capacity is continually increasing. We have acquired substantial equity interests in a modern fishing fleet and in real estate.

In addition to our own factories, Møre Codfish Comp. works closely with some independent suppliers, who in certain cases work in total exclusivity for our company. This permits a wider availability of goods, enabling an exceptional response and adaptability to the market needs.
