Salted and dried fish is our main export article.

The raw materials are landed at our production facilities by modern ocean-going fishing vessels and most of the catches are from Arctic waters. Through close co-operation with the fishing fleet, we are assured continious supplies of raw materials of superior quality.

Care of the fish is of prime importance from the very moment the catch arrives. Experienced workers and modern production equipment ensure that the high quality of the raw materials is maintained throughout the production process. All our plants are equipped with highly efficient refrigeration and deep freezing facilities, which are essential to the maintenance of keeping a consistent excellent quality.

Although the curing of fish still has its basis in the old traditional methods, these are today supplemented by high technology processes which monitor and condition the air in our drying tunnels.
